About Our Media Center

Welcome to the Eastside Elementary media center! Ms. Jones and Mrs. Haley love their Eastside students and look forward to seeing their smiling faces each day. Our mission is to brighten the lives of children by empowering them with the education and skills they'll need to build a better future for us all. We envision the media center as the heart of the school and a safe haven for all students, and our goal is to provide a creative, engaging environment where students enjoy learning.

Students are welcome in the media center daily from 7:35 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. to check out books. We offer events such as book fairs, holiday movies, STEAM Fridays, virtual field trips to national parks, and a summer library program. Our lessons focus on reading, technology, STEAM, and exploring the world around us.
